Cet album est vraiment du pur Hank III, sans concession, plein de bruit et de fureur et qui nous emmène loin sur les traces de ses dérives country bien loin de la country mainstream de Nashville.
Il est de plus entouré de fines gâchettes qui se déchaînent sans compter tout au long de ces 40 minutes de folie (je ne parle pas du second disque « expérimental » que je vous laisse découvrir…).
Hank a vraiment la voix de son grand père, c’est assez hallucinant.
C’est de la country pur jus, et ça fait drôlement plaisir à entendre.
